How to create a Coinbase API key for AlgoVesta

Follow these steps to generate a trade-only API key on Coinbase and connect it to AlgoVesta in minutes.

Log in to the Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) portal
Go to Access > API keys, click Create API key
Enter a nickname (e.g. AlgoVesta) and select your portfolio
Permission level: select View + Trade (NOT Transfer)
Click Create & Download and complete 2FA
From the downloaded JSON: paste the API Key Name as your API Key
Paste the Private Key as your Secret Key
