How to create a Kraken API key for AlgoVesta

Follow these steps to generate a trade-only API key on Kraken and connect it to AlgoVesta in minutes.

Log in to your Kraken account
Security > select API
Click Add key
Enter a Key Description (e.g. AlgoVesta)
Permissions: select Query Funds + Create & Modify Orders
Select Query open orders & trades + Query closed orders & trades
Complete verification, copy the keys

Security first: never enable withdrawal permission. AlgoVesta only needs read + trade access — your keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and funds always stay on your own exchange account.
