Connect your Telegram account & channels

Quick connect — phone number only

In most cases you only need the phone number linked to your Telegram account: enter it in the setup wizard, type the code Telegram sends to your app, and you are connected. The API credentials below are only needed if you choose “I want to use my own API ID”, or if quick connect is not offered on your account.

Connect via API credentials

1. Visit my.telegram.org and sign in with your phone number
2. Open API development tools, create an app, copy api_id and api_hash
3. In AlgoVesta, enter your API ID, API Hash and phone number, then click Send verification code
4. Enter the code that arrives in your Telegram app and click Verify & Connect
5. If your account has Two-Step Verification (2FA) enabled, you'll be asked for that password once

Add channels

1. Click Fetch My Channels — your joined channels are listed automatically
2. Toggle on the channels you want AlgoVesta to follow (or add one manually by @username)
3. Configure risk settings (position size, SL/TP behaviour) and press Start
