Platform & Security
Technical middleware is software that sits between a signal source and a trading venue and does the connecting work, parsing, rule checks, order routing, protection and record-keeping, without itself giving trading advice, holding funds or deciding what to trade; it is the category AlgoVesta belongs to.
The distinction determines responsibilities. A signal provider is responsible for the trade idea, an exchange or broker for custody and execution, and the middleware for faithfully and safely carrying the instruction from one to the other under the user's rules. Blurring these roles leads to bad expectations: users asking the middleware to pick trades, providers blaming the middleware for their late posts, or middleware quietly taking custody. It also matters legally: middleware that does not advise or hold funds is a different kind of service from a fund manager or a broker.
AlgoVesta positions itself explicitly as execution middleware. It does not publish signals, does not manage money, does not hold funds, and does not claim performance figures for anyone's strategy; the results page says so directly instead of showing a marketing win rate. What it does is deterministic and visible: read the sources you connect, parse and validate signals, apply the rules you set, place and protect orders on your accounts, monitor positions, and record everything with reasons. Measured latency and other numbers on the site come from real measurements and are checked before pages are published. The risk layer is enforced on the server side, so no prompt to an AI client and no channel message can exceed the limits you configured. See the about page and the risk disclaimer.
A user asks whether AlgoVesta recommends a channel. The answer is that it does not evaluate or recommend sources; it can run any channel in paper mode so the user can measure it. Another user asks the platform to "just make money"; the platform has no such feature, because deciding what to trade is the source's job, and the user's job is to choose the source and the rules.
